EPIC Outback Family Adventure. Road to Birdsville & BIG RED. (Ep1)

After years of dreaming about visiting the Simpson Desert, it was finally time to have our go at it. With floods in the desert forcing us to re schedule our initial travel plans, we finally had the all clear to take on this epic adventure of a lifetime. The first leg of the journey is getting to Birdsville, which will mark the start of our desert crossing, will will end at Mt Dare.
Getting to Birdsvile from our home in Hervey Bay was a 4 day adventure on its own and we managed to see quite a bit of Queensland outback, which is what this video is all about.
We end this video at the top of the famous BIG RED sand dune where the Simpson Desert dunes start for us.
We are riding in our Mitsubishi Triton and we are accompanied by Eshlyn's parents in their Mitsubishi Challenger and Her brothers family in their Mitsubishi Pajero.
