Has Panjshir Fallen to Taliban? Ahmed Massoud Denies Reports Of Heavy Clashes And Taliban Victory

Taliban has claimed they have taken control of the Panjshir valley by defeating the National Resistance Front. At least 17 people have been killed in Kabul due to celebratory firing by Taliban over their claim to victory in Panjshir. However, Afghan resistance forces based in Panjshir have denied Taliban's takeover claims.

Resistance Force leader, Ahmed Massoud has strongly denied Taliban’s claim to victory. Resistance Forces have reportedly captured some Taliban fighters trying to climb the mountains in Panjshir.
