Discover how our digital active bass trap transforms room acoustics in a real-world test.

In early 2023, we released the AVAA C214 — our new digital active bass trap, designed to control bass precision in your room.

Simply place it where the bass resonates, and it will effectively absorb room modes between 15 Hz and 160 Hz. No calibration is required — it just absorbs, emitting no signal.

In this video, we demonstrate how the AVAA C214 can improve the acoustics of a real room using actual measurements with REW (Room EQ Wizard).

For this experiment, we placed four AVAAs, one in each corner of the room. We activated them in different groups to observe the differences in response. In the video, you'll see the results with two AVAAs placed at the front, which is our recommended setup for a room of this size.

The result? Room modes are significantly reduced and no frequencies are cancelled leading to a smoother, more accurate bass response.
