What are Conditionals?
Conditionals are sentences that talk about a condition and its result.

Usually use “if”
Structure: If + condition → result

Example:
If you study, you will pass.
Types of Conditionals (Simple Explanation)

1️⃣ Zero Conditional (Facts / Truths)
Used for general truths or scientific facts
Structure:
If + present simple → present simple
Examples:
If you heat water, it boils.
If it rains, the ground gets wet.

2️⃣ First Conditional (Real Future Possibility)
Used for real or possible situations in the future
Structure:
If + present → will + verb
Examples:
If you study, you will pass.
If it rains, we will stay at home.

3️⃣ Second Conditional (Unreal / Imaginary)
Used for imaginary or unlikely situations
Structure:
If + past → would + verb
Examples:
If I were a bird, I would fly.
If I had money, I would travel.

4️⃣ Third Conditional (Past Regret)
Used for things that did not happen in the past
Structure:
If + had + V3 → would have + V3
Examples:
If I had studied, I would have passed.
If she had come, we would have enjoyed.
