I can't say enough how beading and overall jewelry making can be therapy. Through happiness and through grief, this time I get with my bead mat, with my beads, and with YOU helps me in so many ways.
This piece was created while I was thinking of and grieving over the loss of a friend I will soon experience. My friend Rachel, my closest friend for more than 20 years, will be meeting our Heavenly Father soon. My heart hurts as I make this piece so I didn't talk too much in this one. I enjoyed and took shelter in the process and with the knowledge that my friends are with me while I make this beautiful piece that I wish Rachel could have. She loves blue, she loves bronze, and I love her.
