Elephants visited our tent! How cool is that? Elephants are probably my favourite animal (it's hard to choose just one). So this day couldn't get any better with 4 big elephants walking passed our tent at Busanga Plains camp.

For me the highlight of the 5th day were the elephant walking passed our tent at Busanga Plains camp. When you're standing on the ground, you really realize how big these grey giants are.

Another highlight were the lions we found in the morning. It was a good decision to follow the sole male lion we spotted at first. We were hoping he would lead us to more lions and so we did after some time following the lion. Very nice to see the male lion interact with three of his children.

The sun and the lights in the morning and afternoon were simply amazing! This is why they call it golden hour. Seeing the sunrise and sunset alone makes me wanna go back to Zambia alone.
