Fastest Turner Yet, Alcohol Ink Waterfall Rain Technique, St Patrick's Day

I'd heard somewhere that the faster a tumbler turner, the better control one might have when attempting the alcohol ink Waterfall - Rain Technique. So I found this great variable-speed turner on Amazon that turns up to 9 rpm (my current fastest turner had been 6 rpm), and here is a test with two different tumblers, two different brands of alcohol inks, and my overall assessment. Nigel Tufnel and the waterfall/rain gods laughed and laughed and laughed. But, hey, Happy St. Patrick's Gnome Day!!! 🍀

I love Swirls! Mostly swirls of color, but really any swirls at all - I think they add a beauty and grace to everything. So after I started making soap a few years ago, and needing some sort of biz name that didn't sound like everyone else's version of suds-r-us, I decided on Luxinda Swirl. Luxinda is a twist on my real name, and I quickly started putting swirls of color in all of my handmade soaps.

Now I'm branching out a bit, and I want to keep adding swirls to everything I do!
