China's northernmost high-speed rail which links Mudanjiang with Jiamusi in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province started its joint test on Tuesday.

Track laying of the railway, with a total length of 371.6 kilometers, was completed in November 2020.

The joint test started from Jiamusi Station and ended at Mudanjiang Station after a 90-minute journey. During the test, the highest speed reached 275 kilometers per hour, which is a reliability redundancy 10% higher than the design speed of 250 kilometers per hour, with all facilities working in good condition.

It is expected that this railway line will put into trial operation by the end of August, laying a solid foundation for the official operation in autumn.

The construction of the Mudanjiang-Jiamusi high-speed railway, one of the major projects on China's medium- and long-term rail development blueprint, started in 2016. It covered a region often hit by blizzards with temperatures as low as 30 degrees Celsius below zero.

連接牡丹江和中國東北黑龍江省佳木斯的中國最北端高鐵於週二開始聯合測試。

鐵路鋪設軌道，全長371.6公里，已於 2020 年 11 月完成。

聯合測試從佳木斯站出發，歷經90分鐘的車程，在牡丹江站結束。 試驗期間，最高時速達到275公里，比設計時速250公里高出10%的可靠性冗餘，各項設施運行狀況良好。

牡丹江至佳木斯高鐵是中國中長期鐵路發展藍圖的重大項目之一，於2016年開工建設，覆蓋的地區經常遭受暴風雪襲擊，氣溫低至零下30攝氏度 。
