Ulysses S. Grant was the Union general who helped to win the Civil War for the North. He also served two terms as President of the United States, but for years, his reputation was not a great one. However, the general opinion of the 18th President has begun to change in recent years, and so the History Channel’s miniseries Grant presents the man in a much more positive light.
