Google just announced Google Skills, a new free learning hub that brings together nearly 3,000 AI and cloud courses, labs and credentials in one place, plus some huge updates for developers and job seekers.

With Google Skills you get:

One home for learning from Google Cloud, DeepMind, Grow with Google and Google for Education

Hands-on labs with Gemini Code Assist, vibe coding and new skill badges

Gamified learning with leagues, achievements and streaks to keep you consistent

Powerful org features so teams can assign courses, track progress and compete on leaderboards

They also launched the GEAR program (Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready) to help 1 million developers build, deploy and manage enterprise AI agents on Gemini Enterprise.

And if you complete select Google Cloud Certificates (like cybersecurity or data analytics), you can get a direct hiring pathway with partners like Jack Henry, using real-world labs as the first step of the interview process.
