Vader told Bossk, among other bounty hunters including Boba Fett, in The Empire Strikes Back, to use any means necessary to bring Han Solo to him, alive.
One of the most ruthless bounty hunters in the galaxy, and no, it's not Boba Fett, but actaully Bossk (who rivals him) as we'll see today if you didn't already know. Notorious and malicious, Bossk was the bounty hunter you didn't want to meet.
Boba Fett and him actually even fought head to head before. Bossk is a an absolute monster of a bounty hunter who follows his own rules when it comes to finishing the job.

I wonder if we could hear about him or see a flashback in The Mandalorian Season 2. Perhaps Bossk, hired by Moff Gideon, claims Baby Yoda, and Din Djarin must team up with Boba Fett to take back The Child. That'd be fun to see.
