Webinar: How Canada Can Become a Global Battery Powerhouse

If Canada plays its cards right, it has the potential to build a domestic EV battery supply chain that could support up to 250,000 jobs by 2030 and add $48 billion to the Canadian economy annually. That's according to recent modelling from Clean Energy Canada and the Trillium Network for Advanced Manufacturing, which explores how Canada can build out its battery supply chain and the economic potential of this industry.

Other countries are moving quickly to position themselves in the growing global supply chain. Perhaps most relevant for Canada are new measures introduced in the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act which offer new opportunities—and challenges—for a Canadian battery supply chain.

What can Canada learn from other jurisdictions about seizing the battery opportunity? And how do we position ourself for success? Watch this Clean Energy Canada for a pointed conversation to explore these topics with experts Ilka von Dalwigk, Andrew Miller, and Dr. Leonardo Paoli.
