Narrative video games are in trouble. For many studios, their mo-cap studios are completely shut down. This means that games looking to launch in early 2021 are in serious trouble and risk of delay. It's unfortunate, considering Xbox Series X and PS5 launch this fall, but it's nonetheless manageable considering our current circumstances. We'll see how this impacts games like The Last of Us Part 2, God of War 2, and Horizon Zero Dawn 2.
