Sizwheel, this is how i understand it.

Sizwheel style undercut is used to control a hard leaning tree. The fibers on the tension side were supposed to tear away from the backside of the stump rather than breaking.
Stihl MS461 with 28" bar.
Rakers were taken down to far with my first 2 in 1 file guide. She was way to hungry in this video!!!
