Jeep Wrangler YJ Skid Plate Removal

How to remove the skid plate on a Jeep Wrangler YJ. It's not as easy as just 'unbolt the skid plate'. If you do that, you will have a big surprise laying on your shop floor!!

Here I show the steps I went through to remove the skid plate on my 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It's a fairly easy process, if you are careful. On the other hand, if the skid plate bolts are severely rusted, it can be a nightmare. You will be breaking the skid plate mounting bolts and beating your head against the wall.
