Some news from Yiddish culture field! from BELARUS!

A very creative Polish-Belarusian team of Yiddish culture amateurs - Children and Youth Creativity Center (Barysaŭ, Belarus) and Fundacja "Teatr Latarnia" (Białystok, Poland), invites you to the online presentation of the international project SHTETLFEST, which starts to be implemented with the European Union support.

This project is dedicated to the research and revitalization of the traditions (music, dance, history) of former Jewish townships, Belarusian-Yiddish and Polish-Yiddish folklore and local fests.

To learn more, join our online presentation on December 17 (Thursday) at 8pm (Minsk time, 6 pm Warsaw) on this YouTube channel -- Ms. Anne Nittelnacht.

Event duration is approximately: 1 hour 40 min.

In the program:
• you will learn about the planned activities of the Shtetlfest project, get acquainted with the Polish and Belarusian partners of the project;
• you will learn how you can become a project participant;
• in the interactive part - answers to questions (you can use the chat);
• AND! the author's black-and-white movie based on Jewish fairy tales, "Magic Scissors" will be shown for the first time on the Internet...
• ...with live accompaniment by the lady's non-klezmer band Zhydovachka!
