In this sermon for the Feast of the Good Shepherd, we step away from the immediate resurrection appearances to ground ourselves in a simple, profound truth: the Author of Life is also our Good Shepherd. While the world is filled with an "endless racket" of competing voices claiming to offer truth and happiness, Jesus distinguishes Himself as the only door to abundant life.

We explore how the sheep learn to distinguish the Shepherd’s voice from the voices of "thieves and robbers". This recognition isn't magical or instinctive; it is born of deep intimacy and a relationship developed over time. Just as a parent recognizes the specific cry of their own child, we are invited to know Jesus so closely that we recognize His whisper even beneath the tumult of the world.

🐑 Examining the Heart: Challenging ourselves to identify the "strongholds" where we might be stopping our ears to the Shepherd’s call to repent and follow.
