Hellloooo friends! :) I THINK I'M OFFICIALLY BACK LOL. In today's video I bring you guys along on one of our favorite pastimes, a thrifting adventure come shop with me!! We go thrifting/antique/vintage shopping, at Treasures and Junk and we see what goodies we can find :) We explore this place and see all sorts of secondhand goods ranging from clothes to shoes to home decor to license plates to massive ornate mirrors to baby clothes to LOTS of seasonal decor and even a good ol' spittoon. hi also a little last note if anyone is interested to know why i've been absent from youtube + creating content-
long story short, i was getting to the point where i was dreading filming and editing and creating cool stuff and i was getting burnt out. burn out is something i've experienced in full force before and it's always really hard to recover from. now i love love love what i do; i love being creative and making things, i love building this community with you guys. it's the most special thing in the world. so when i felt myself kind of losing that drive + spirit to create, i didn't want to keep pushing myself to make stuff that i knew wouldn't have that sparkle and passion that i so love to add into my videos.

it ended up working out perfectly to take a break- i had a nearly 3 week long trip coming up visiting the philippines, where internet can be pretty not-so-great, so i just didn't pre-film + pre-edit anything and i tried to just trust that everything would be okay. that i would become mentally, physically, + creatively refreshed, that you guys would understand when i finally shared this bit, and the most terrifying, that my channel would die and never recover lol (literally so terrifying).

but i decided to just go for it, take the time off. i only posted one video (that had a contractual posting date) and i did actually film this video 2 or 3 days before i left, so this video is actually a month old hahaha. and at first was going to push myself to edit it immediately so i could put it up immediately before i left, but then i realized w all of this, the video would be WORLDS BETTER, if i worked on it when i got back after i had a break. and looking at it now?? HOLY COW. this turned out so so so much better than i initially was planning it to be, and it's actually one of my favorite videos i've done in SO LONG.

so final bit- i feel so so so much better. i feel refreshed in all facets and i'm incredibly excited to make cool stuff for you guys. so i'm back. now we just hope and pray my channel is all good algorithmic-wise lol.
