Masculinity is in crisis if you take on a therapist's perspective. The status quo is turbulent and difficult, but it may result in the new idea of manhood and put an end to old problems.

Bogdan de Barbaro is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist who works and lectures at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He's particularly interested in postpsychiatry, a new perspective on psychiatry that places more emphasis on the social and cultural contexts, and the treatment of families where schizophrenia is an issue. At TEDxKrakówSalon XY he'll be looking at an issue that affects everyone, namely the crisis in masculinity and the challenge faced by men in the 21st century.
