SPACE STATION CREW DISCUSSES APOLLO 11 WITH THE WASHINGTON POST

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 59 Flight Engineers Nick Hague and Christina Koch of NASA offered their thoughts on the 50th anniversary of humanity’s first landing on the moon on Apollo 11 and future space exploration that will return Americans to the moon by 2024 during an in-flight interview May 28 with Chris Davenport of the Washington Post. Hague and Koch are in the midst of long duration missions on the orbital laboratory that will help pave the way for a return to the moon and subsequent missions to Mars in the years ahead.
