Shooto Slip Drill
This is part of a warmup drill we used to do at the beginning of sensei Yori Nakamura's shooto class. It's an excellent drill to help teach the movements for slipping punches. Generally, you want to slip to the outside of a punch so that you're safe from the other hand. The movements should not be too exaggerated. The more subtle the movement the more efficient it will be. Focus on keeping a stable lower body base and only move the upper part of the body.
