Ukraine Crisis: PM vows to cripple Russian economy

The Prime Minister vowed to cripple the Russian economy as he announced a raft of new sanctions against Moscow.

The measures included the freezing of the assets of all major Russian banks.

Boris Johnson said the UK and Western leaders had made every attempt to end tensions diplomatically but "Putin is a blood-stained aggressor".
