A video looking at why a country might take the decision to change its flag. It can be done for any number of reasons, whether it be a regime change, independence, and something entirely unique to that country's situation.

A look a few examples of countries that have changed their flag, starting with South Africa, and the change made after an end to apartheid. I also look at the USA, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and finally Japan.
