CarlinKit 3.0 wireless CarPlay adapter test, review, pros & cons

Trying out another wired-to-wireless CarPlay adapter. This time we have #CarlinKit 3.0 (U2W Plus) to check. This device will convert almost any wired #CarPlay system into wireless setup. Installation is very easy, basically it's plug&play. Phone pairing is as easy as searching for new bluetooth device from your iPhone. Tested it for few weeks and had no issues with it what so ever. It boots up quickly, connects to phone without any delay, sound is clear, no audio drops or tearing. Audio delay is noticeable when the device is set to factory defaults, but I believe it can be fixed after adjusting sound buffer size in advanced settings menu.

🚗 This CarlinKit converter was tested in 2016 VW Golf MK7 equipped with MIB2 infotainment system (MIB2 Discover Media). Car was equipped with AppConnect. CarlinKit support most factory and aftermarket systems with wired CarPlay. I found one exception which is BMW. For some reason BMW cars are not listed as supported.
