✏️Comments: This is a groundhog day AU. Kirk is cursed to spend eternity without his soulmate.
Spock Prime, also afflicted with this curse, gives Kirk a chance to break it
The catch? Dying before his soulmate confesses will land him right back at the beginning. And his soulmate happens to be the emotionally constipated Spock. Kirk's feeling quite fucked at that realization.
But things work out in the end! With the strength of Kirk's emotions, Spock is struck with memories from former lives they lived together. At first, only the deaths of Kirk. Soon though, he sees the closeness they shared through those lifetimes, the closeness they have now. AND BOOM! Cycle broken.
At the end, what I picture them saying is:
Spock: You are my Th'y'la.
Kirk: I love you too, Spock.
sadfsghjgkk hopefully all that makes sense. Prime Spock is happy enough with helping Kirk...but maybe HIS Kirk is fighting to reach him ;)
