USA: Looters plunder stores in Chicago

Large numbers of looters were seen plundering stores in Chicago on early Monday, following reports of a day of high tensions between police officers and residents of Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood, where a man was shot and injured by the security forces earlier in the day.

Footage filmed in the Windy City, as Chicago is known, shows looters running in and out of a Walgreens, as well as stores in the vicinity, carrying bags with them and getting inside vehicles to leave the area.

Exact reasons of what sparked the lootings are still under investigation.
