Let me tell you to run 🏃‍♀️💨 don't walk to get these patterns if you- like me could use some cute crochet decor that is both cute & functional.

This little basket by @CableandCanvas is so so adorable & quick to make up. It can be small like mine (using a lighter weight 4) or really pretty big if you use blanket yarn like some of my fellow testers did!

I have been wanting a place to keep my stitch markers for so long because keeping them in their original packaging or in a bag with my crochet hooks was just NOT the move. I always lose them & honestly if something doesn't have a dedicated space I will just leave them wherever 💁🏻‍♀️

I JUMPED on this pattern test as soon as she posted it because honestly I have been a fan of mushroom baskets for so long but the ones in the store are just out of my budget (as a mom who can't bear to spend money on herself most of the time).

And as the absolute most PERFECT pairing to my basket I have my Captain Hook dragon by freaky_tiki_crochet

I have been so so excited for this pattern ever since she told me about her idea and started working on the prototypes. Ashley is BRILLIANT y'all.

She wrote the pattern up for 4 hooks but I did only make 3 since my dragon was made with velvet yarn & the belly was pretty stuffed with three. This did however work out for me since I have three hook sizes I rotate between.

Like I said before having a specific space to keep something is key for me & while I have a pouch for my crochet hooks it isn't super convenient when I have to dig for my favorite hooks sizes every day. So now they are within easy access & easy clean up!

It also should be noted that Ashley did include a mod for making a sleeping dragon without hook spots if all you want is a cute friend. And she included trinket trays to keep more accessories!

I can't tell you how happy I am with these two.

10/10 would recommend.
