What is Air Force Special Reconnaissance?

Special Reconnaissance Airmen collect, analyze, and predict oceanographic, meteorological and space atmosphere conditions. They read and interpret weather satellite imagery, climatology reports and computerized weather predictions. They integrate collected weather data and observed meteorological conditions into the military decision making process. Special Reconnaissance Airmen deploy into remote areas and locations to participate in military operations. And they provide the tactical intelligence and information their teams need to successfully complete their missions.
