The next step — putting my thoughts on paper.

Before any embroidery begins, the shape has to be tested.
I draft the pattern, sew a quick fabric mock-up, and attach it to the antique frame to see if the construction really works.

No handbag is born without this stage — especially when the frame is old, unusual, and has its own character.

Now everything is checked.
The proportions feel right.
I can move forward.
