Same Problem. Two Different TI Calculators. Two Different Answers.

I was editing a calculus video and wanted to test new TI EVO software for that video (stay tuned for that). I noticed that my old TI-84 gave me a different answer 🤔

I understand that calculators use numerical methods to calculate derivatives, so I wonder if TI is using a different algorithm?

Thankfully the first several digits are the same, and we round to three decimal places on AP Calculus, so we’re safe. But I wonder now what answer the real EVO would produce.
