Italytailormade.com For approximately 900 years the castle of Poppiano has belonged to the ancient Tuscan family Guicciardini, who have been involved in winemaking since 1199.
I had heard of this family, tasted wines produced at Castello di Poppiano and had always wanted to visit the castle, it is located not far from where I live in Chianti and It was tne best experience ever.

Each time I enjoy the blossom, the aroma and taste of a wine in my goblet, it is especially enjoyable when I know the history behind the wine, know precisely who has put his heart into the making of this special moment. Everything has its own history for which it becomes something special for us.
