"Futurist Gerd Leonhard argues that the current digital landscape is shifting toward a dangerous era of autocratic technology policies driven by profit rather than human well-being. He warns that as artificial intelligence replaces the traditional internet, society faces a crisis of trust and dehumanization fueled by outmoded market incentives (growth of GDP at all cost).

To counter this, Leonhard suggests that #europe must now decouple from broken and dysfunctional economic systems (such as the United States... at least with its current 'leadership) to prioritize holistic human (and nature) flourishing over stock market gains. #peopleplanetpurposeprosperity

He emphasizes that while the transition will be emotionally painful, it is necessary to establish firm ethical boundaries and collective agendas. Ultimately, he calls for a positive narrative shift to inspire younger generations and reclaim a future centered on genuine progress"
