How To: Chose the right TONER for highlighted hair or tone/get rid of brassy yellow or orange tones

In a Nutshell:

Ok, I know there is a lot of Theory here but just remember the main things like the color wheel and it´s complimentary colors.( the colors opposite each other)

If your hair is yellow you need to use a toner with purple
If your hair is orange you need something stronger like a blue
If it´s red and you wanna go back to a brown try a green!

Remember the underlying pigments when lightening your hair!
The darker your hair before you start the stronger the underlying pigment is in the hair and the more likely you will need to use a toner.

Here are the different Levels and their underlying pigments:
Black hair ( Level 1)- Pale blonde hair ( Level 10)

Level1 -3 dark red
Level 4 red
Level 5 re-orange
Level 6 orange
Level 7 orange-yellow
Level 8 yellow
Level 9 pale yellow
Level 10 palest yellow
