About this video: This video is a complete guide on how to create a Fabric Minecraft server in 26.1.2. Our goal is that by the end of this video, you are playing Minecraft mods with your friends. There is a link in the description above to download the Fabric Installer that will get you started.

That will take you to our text guide where you can click the Download button and the Download for Windows to get the Fabric Installer.

Open the installer, and the click to install the 26.1.2 version of Fabric locally. Why do you need to do this? Because you and every single person joining your server needs Fabric, and the Fabric mods you want, installed locally. Then, click on “Server” and click the three dots next to your server location. Create a new folder for your server on your desktop and select it there.

Then, click to install the server files. Click to download the server jar and sell as generate your start-up files. You now have everything you need for your Fabric server downloaded.

Go to the folder you created and run the start.bat file. Your server will try to start and fail generating some files and folders. One of these will be the eula.txt file. Open this and set eula=false to eula=true. Save the file, and double-click the start.bat file again. Your server will now be online.

To add mods, just add them to the “mods” folder in your server’s directory. Just make sure to also add them in your local mods folder and have your friends add it to their mods folders as well before joining.
