Worship Throwback - Refiner's Fire (acoustic) - Brian Doerksen, Vineyard Worship

Acoustic cover of Refiner's Fire, written by Brian Doerksen and published in 1989 by Vineyard.

This was one of my favorite worship songs in high school (in the mid 90's). It was a popular one being sung in more modern worship contexts at the time - Vineyard was a huge influence on contemporary worship music. I always personally connected with this song in a pretty special way.

I'm playing here using key of D chord shapes with a capo on the 2nd fret, so I'm playing in the open key of E.
