DIY ESP32-S3 Desk Buddy: Smart Clock & Weather Display | Coolest DIY Project For Beginners

Welcome to the very first look at my new DIY project: Desk Buddy v0.1! In this video, I'm showing off the first working prototype of my smart little desk companion. We built this entirely on a zero PCB to test out the hardware and code, and I'm super excited to show you how it works!

📡 Current Features (v0.1):
✔️ Smart Clock that keeps perfect time right on my desk.
✔️ Real-time weather updates via Wi-Fi so I always know what it's like outside.
✔️ A dynamic screen that changes expressions and gives the bot some personality!
✔️ Touch Control: Tap to switch between screens effortlessly.

🚧 Upcoming Features (v0.2 / 0.3):
This is just the beginning. I am currently designing a custom 3D printed case to hide the electronics and give Desk Buddy a sleek, finished look.

🎯 Why This Project?
I wanted a smart desktop display for time and weather, but standard digital clocks are just boring. I decided to build a true desk "companion" that actually has some personality! By adding an OLED screen with dynamic, animated emoji expressions, this little device feels alive.
