In this annex video, I focus on the Proxmox VE graphical installer and show the installation process using BTRFS with a RAID 10 layout. Proxmox documents BTRFS as a supported root file system in the installer and notes that RAID10 is one of the available built-in BTRFS RAID layouts.

This video is useful if you want to see how a Proxmox VE installation looks with the graphical installer and a BTRFS-based mirrored-striped layout. Proxmox’s BTRFS documentation states that RAID10 requires at least four disks, which fits this 4-drive configuration.

In this setup, I use BTRFS RAID 10 on 4 SAS drives and walk through the graphical installation flow step by step. Proxmox also notes that when BTRFS is used during installation, no swap space is created automatically, though unpartitioned space can be reserved for swap if needed.
