Faith: Six Ways to Build Your Faith!

Six ways or areas to strengthen your faith are discussed here. If you're in need of a touch from God, or a way to keep a touch from God, these 6 ways may be a great help to you.

The Six Ways are listed here:
1. The Word of God. The better we know it - the easier it is to believe. "...to know and believe..." is a phrase used several times in the Bible.
2. Worship. Romans 4 tells us that '...Abraham was strong in faith, giving glory to God...' The more you worship - the stronger your faith will be!
3. Fasting. Fasting will build faith; it's a complex thought but it works.
4. The fullness of the Holy Ghost. We can have a relationship with God that is less than God desires. There is a fullness in Him that enables great faith!
5. A good report. 'A good report maketh the bone fat...', Proverbs tells us. Being around positive people, people of faith, will see your faith strengthened. Doubt will detract from your faith, as will people who are pessimistic.
6. The laying on of hands. Hebrews 6 offers 'the laying on of hands' as a foundational element of New Testament Christianity; it is sadly overlooked in many (very many) churches today - to our detriment. Through the laying on of hands many things may be imparted; a Gift of Faith, healing, strength... The possibilites are indeed endless. One scripture that correlates so well with the laying on of hands is Jesus' own words to his disciples, "...Freely you have received; freely give..."!

Correction: the Gospel according Mark, chapter 1, records a story of deliverance in the first chapter - not the Gospel according to John - please pardon my error in the video.
