Labor has ‘credibility problem’ on Daniel Andrews’ ‘massive public policy failures’
The Labor Party has a “credibility problem” when it speaks of the second wave of the pandemic in Victoria as it fails to focus on the “massive public policy failures” of the Andrews government, according to The Australian’s Paul Kelly.
Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese moved a motion in parliament on Tuesday to praise the resilience of Victorians throughout the crisis.
The motion allowed for speeches by Mr Albanese, his deputy Richard Marles, Prime Minister Scott Morrison, and Treasurer Josh Frydenberg who used the opportunity to praise Victorians but slam Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.
“The Labor Party, led by Anthony Albanese, had very little to say about the substance of any of this apart from praising the Victorian people,” Mr Kelly said.
