Dipnetting in Chitina

Every year in late June we try to fill our freezer with salmon. To do so we take our RPOD and go #dipnetting on the #CopperRiver for Sockeye aka Copper River Reds. You can do it from shore or from a boat and we always choose the boat. Dipnetting looks easy, but actually it requires some experience to determine when a salmon hits your net and also some skills to get it up without loosing it from the net. Follow us on a scenic drive to Chitina and a wonderful time on the Copper River while we fish for salmon. Oh, and if you know any good salmon recipes: Just post them in the comments. Have fun.
