September 24, 2018 | Carlos Vives is a Grammy Award-winning Colombian singer and composer, best known for his fusion of pop vocals and traditional Colombian vallenato music. In addition to being an internationally renowned artist, Vives is a devoted social and environmental activist, promoting social and sustainability initiatives in Colombia.
Tras la Perla is one of Carlos Vives' most successful not-for-profit initiatives that aims to revive and empower Pescaito, one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in his native Colombian city of Santa Marta.
