Devin White is an American football linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU, where he was a consensus All-American and won the Butkus Award as the nation's top linebacker in 2018. White was drafted by the Buccaneers with the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

White was born in Coushatta, Louisiana, and attended North Webster High School, where he was a standout two-way player in football and basketball. As a senior, he was named the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year and the Louisiana Class 3A Defensive Player of the Year.

White was recruited by several top college football programs, but he chose to attend LSU. He played in all 13 games as a freshman, recording 35 tackles and 2.5 sacks. As a sophomore, White started all 13 games and led the team with 133 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. He was named to the All-SEC Second Team.

White had a breakout season as a junior in 2018. He started all 13 games and led the team with 138 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. He was also credited with 14 pass breakups. White was named a consensus All-American and won the Butkus Award as the nation's top linebacker. He was also a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and the Walter Camp Football Defensive Player of the Year Award.

White was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He started in all 16 games as a rookie and recorded 128 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

In 2020, White started in all 16 games and recorded 140 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.

In 2021, White started in all 17 games and recorded 155 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. He was named to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career.

White is a versatile linebacker who can play both inside and outside. He is a good tackler and pass rusher. He is also a strong blitzer. White is a key player on the Buccaneers' defense and is one of the best linebackers in the NFL.
