I started crying making this because of how much my life has changed since adopting Zula.

I have been struggling with my mental health for a very very long time and I have been in some very dark places.

My husband and the rest of my family have been such an amazing support system but I still wasn’t getting better.

My mom suggested a pet may help. I’ve never had my own dog before. I was really nervous but also so excited.
I didn’t know what to expect.

I never expected to have so much love for an animal. She has changed my life. She knows how to read me and help calm me down. She keeps me active and has brought me out of the darkness. I still struggle but the improvement has been drastic.
She’s my best pal.
