Former NBA player Joe Smith shared the details about his relationship with his wife, Kisha Chavis, an adult film actor. Smith shared the couple met at a 2012 BET Awards after-party and began building a relationship immediately afterward. Despite Kisha's background in adult films, which Smith knew about from their first meeting, he insists he’s never seen her videos. He said the couple had a lot in common, such as their passion for music. They quickly started living together, after which their financial situation progressively worsened due to Smith’s retirement from the NBA and a recent divorce. Despite the challenges, Smith proposed marriage because of their bond and trust. Smith, who has six children from prior relationships, and Kisha, with one child, have no plans for more children.
