Covina is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States, about 22 miles (35 km) east of downtown Los Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley. The population was 47,796 at the 2010 census, up from 46,837 at the 2000 census. The city's slogan, "One Mile Square and All There", was coined when the incorporated area of the city was only (some say slightly less than) one square mile.
Covina is bordered by West Covina, to the southwest, Vincent to the west, Azusa to the northwest, Glendora to the northeast, Citrus to the north, the unincorporated community of Charter Oak to the north-east, San Dimas to the east, and Ramona to the south-east.

West Covina is a suburban city in Los Angeles County, California, located 19 miles (31 km) east of Downtown Los Angeles in the eastern San Gabriel Valley and is part of Greater Los Angeles. The population for the city was 106,098 at the 2010 census.
West Covina is bordered by Covina and Ramona to the northeast, Baldwin Park and Irwindale to the northwest, La Puente and Valinda to the southwest, Industry to the south, and Walnut to the southeast.
