Every reel I've shipped on @nanoflow.ai was rendered with one tool: HyperFrames. HeyGen — yes, the same HeyGen that charges $99/mo for AI avatars — open-sourced their internal HTML-to-MP4 video composition engine on March 10, 2026. Apache 2.0, 15K stars in 2 months.

What it does:
1. Write HTML + CSS for a video composition (just like a webpage, but with timing markers)
2. Drop in audio, fonts, animations, captions, anything
3. Run npx hyperframes render and out comes a frame-accurate MP4

What it replaces:
- After Effects + a render farm
- Bannerbear, Creatomate, Plainly ($30-$200/mo each)
- Lottie + manual export pipelines
- Custom Puppeteer + ffmpeg + GSAP plumbing every dev rebuilds from scratch

It's built for AI agents to compose video programmatically — feed an LLM a spec, the LLM outputs HTML, HyperFrames renders the MP4. Zero human in the loop.
