Ms. Nora Aunor is an actress, recording artist, and film producer. She has also appeared in many stage plays, television shows and concerts. She is known as Philippine cinema's "Superstar" and "The Grand Dame of Philippine Cinema" for her performance in the movie Taklub and her contribution to Philippine film industry. A Hall of Fame Inductee of Gawad Urian, Famas, won awards from Star Awards, Luna Awards, Metro Manila Film Festival and Young Critics Circle. She won international awards for Cairo Film Fest and Asia Pacific Screen Awards. She received her first Lifetime Achievement Award from Singkuwento International Film Festival Manila Philippines, National Commission for Cultural and the Arts headed by award-winning writer and director Perry Escaño in 2016, who is also vouching for her to be a National Artist for Film in the future.

Ms. Nora Aunor's highest ARTIST award is her Gawad CCP for FILM AND BROADCAST Arts from CCP , which is a major requirement to be a NATIONAL ARTIST
