Russia: Putin talks fighting 'terrorism' with CIS' security & intelligence agencies

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the officials and heads of delegations of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries' security and intelligence agencies at the 39th meeting of the Council of Heads of the CIS Security and Intelligence Agencies in Moscow, Wednesday.
SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (in Russian): "I know that you have already started work yesterday. As usual, there is certainly something to talk about, especially because of the threats to our [respective] countries do not get any smaller and, maybe it should be stated, these problems are compounded: along with the traditional [problems] are the new [problems]. First of all, of course, on the southern borders of the Commonwealth. We all know how difficult the situation is in Afghanistan, the Middle East, of course, and within our own countries we have enough problems that you need to solve."
SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (in Russian): "Without the performance of your service our countries cannot develop. And no one can fight alone against organised crime and terrorism. It is extremely important, that you are going to discuss common problems, looking for ways to address them, and coordinate your work. And, as they usually say in such cases, the citizens of our countries have the right to expect from you improved efficiency and an increase in the coordination of major activities."
