Mouthpiece History! French Hornist Mark Fischer Playing Custom Rim Copy of Ward Fearn's mouthpiece

Mouthpiece HISTORY. Ward Fearn's original Del'osa mouthpiece that he played in the Philadelphia Orchestra for 25 years (left). Ward Fearn gave the piece to french hornist Carolyn Blice who loaned it to Orlando Philharmonic french hornist Mark Fischer to have a copy of the rim made. Copied this unique rim to screw on Mark's a Gazlay (North Florida 70's mouthpiece). Also cut & thread mouthpiece on the right so it could use the rim copy on that french horn mouthpiece also. Mark, thanks for bringing this historic mouthpiece in.
