This is the third video of the series where I share my life stories with you. This is about our life in African countries. We had many wonderful experiences in Africa. അങ്ങനെ പ്രേമിച്ച പെണ്ണിനെ കെട്ടി പിന്നെ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലേക്ക്. സോമാലിയ ആയിരുന്നു തുടക്കം. സൊമാലിയയിൽ ചെന്നിറങ്ങിയ ഞങ്ങൾ റമദാൻ മാസത്തിൽ റമദാൻ നോക്കി. ഉഗാണ്ടയിൽ ചെന്ന് നൈലിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവം വരെ പോയി. പിന്നെ എത്തിയോപ്യയിലെ പുളിപ്പൻ ദോശയും കഴിച്ചു.

Although Kalpita and I spent our life in many African countries, there are three countries which are very close to our heart. They are Somalia, Uganda, and Ethiopia. Somalia was where we started our married life. It was a country troubled by many civil wars. When we reached there, we were quite clueless about the political conditions of Somalia. But people of Somalia were loving. In the first year of our stay in Somalia, we observed Ramadan along with the local people. It was a good experience. Somalia stays in my heart as a loving nation.
Uganda is another country where we gathered many pleasant memories. We had many friends there, some of whom are with us even to this day. I met my best buddy, Vijilesh, when we were in Uganda. It is a beautiful country. It is the country where River Nile originates. We traveled a lot and enjoyed a lot when in Uganda.
Ethiopia, like Uganda, is a country with beautiful places and loving people. Here we had a an old lady as our neighbor. She considered us as her own family and and made special dishes for us. I relished the sour Injera which she made for us, as it resembled Dosa back home. Our second daughter, Keyara, was born in Uganda.
